Integrated Hatha Yoga & Himalayan Kundalini Yoga
Rooted in the rich Vedantic and Tantric traditions of the Himalayas, Sattva Yoga is an integrated practice of meditation, breathwork, kriyas, mantra, mudra, asana and yogic wisdom.
My Gentle/Therapeutic class is designed to calm the mind, reset the nervous system, and increase physical stability and ease as well as inner steadiness.
My Integrated Hatha class includes breathwork and kriyas along with more active asana to invigorate the body while empowering and deepening inner awareness, connection to Self, and trust in the body's wisdom.
My Himalayan Kundalini class offers the powerful and evolutionary healing tools of the Himalayan Yog-Vedantic tradition, ancient yet incredibly supportive and relevant to modern daily life. Kriya means evolutionary action. Kriya practices combine repetitive movements with mudras, mantras, and breathwork to create a moving meditation that facilitates an energetic shift in the mental, physical, emotional and energetic systems of the body. Pranayama (breathwork) teaches us how to work with the flow of energy in the body to experience optimal levels of energy. This class combines breathwork, kriyas, mantra, meditation and a bit of asana to create a rich experience and bring balance to the body, mind, and soul. Himalayan Yoga increases strength, builds vitality and expands mental clarity. The practices help in raising our consciousness and vibration to live a life full of joy and possibility. Generally, every class will include a yoga set for a specific purpose (such as stabilizing the nervous system, balancing the brain, cultivating will, reducing anxiety, awakening joy, activating self healing, strengthening intuition), followed by meditation and relaxation.
Please ideally have a yoga mat, 2 yoga blocks, a yoga strap, and a blanket for all classes.
I also offer private sessions by Zoom and in person outdoors.

My use of the word "therapeutic" is based on my training and experience since 1998 in massage therapy and other healing modalities and my studies under physical therapist and yoga teacher trainer extraordinare Harvey Deutsch.
