About the Retreat
This is a precious opportunity to take a pause from everyday life bustle and immerse into your Self through the deep, multifaceted realms of yoga, enhanced by the raw power and beauty of the ocean and coastal bluffs here. Our day will include meditation, pranayama, active and restorative asana, chanting, and yoga philosophy as applicable to daily life. There will also be time to walk to the Point Bonita lighthouse or on nearby trails and to journal. Come relax and replenish!
Kari has practiced yoga since 1989 and taught since 2000. She is a mother of two teens and a certified yoga teacher, teacher trainer, massage therapist, and birth educator. She loves teaching strengthening, gentle, and restorative practices and is a devoted student of the yoga sutras and bhakti yoga. Kari integrates meditation, mantra, and yoga philosophy into asana to invigorate the body while deepening inner awareness, connection to Self, trust in the body's wisdom, and appreciation of the sacred. Her classes are highly regarded for their revitalizing and centering practices, educational content, and warm, nurturing energy.
